What is ChequeWriter?

ChequeWriter is cheque printing and management software for businesses in the UAE and GCC. It prints your payee, date, amount and amount in words directly onto your bank's cheque leaves, and tracks every cheque until it clears.

Which banks are supported?

ChequeWriter ships with templates for 40 UAE banks including Emirates NBD, ADCB, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Mashreq, Dubai Islamic Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, RAKBANK, CBD and HSBC. Any other bank can be added with the visual template builder or by our team.

Can I print post-dated cheques (PDC)?

Yes. Enter the first date, the frequency and the number of cheques, and ChequeWriter generates the full series with sequential dates and cheque numbers — up to 120 cheques in one batch.

Do I need a special printer?

No. Any standard laser printer that accepts cheque-sized paper works. ChequeWriter includes per-printer alignment calibration so every field lands precisely.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. You pay once for a three-year license. After three years you renew at a low yearly rate to keep updates and support.

Where is my data stored?

You choose. ChequeWriter Cloud stores data securely in our hosted service. ChequeWriter Private keeps all payees, cheques and vouchers on a machine inside your own office network.

Can several people in my team use it?

Yes. Each plan includes a number of activated workstations, and with ChequeWriter Private every workstation on your network shares the same data.

Does it work on Mac?

ChequeWriter is a Windows desktop application. Mac users can run it through a Windows virtual machine or Boot Camp.
